What is the cost of long-term parking at the airport?

Where is the long-term Car Park located?
Darwin International Airport has three car parks that operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Short Term Car Park The 624 bay Short Term Car Park is located directly in front of the Terminal building. Car Park entrances are located on the Henry Wrigley Drive approach to the terminal, and along the public drop off lane.

Long Term Car Park The 270 bay Long Term Car Park is located 200 metres walking distance from the Terminal Building, adjacent to the car rental facility. The Car Park entrance is located on the western side of the Terminal Building.

General Aviation Car Park The 299 bay General Aviation Car Park is located on Pedersen Road and caters for customers in the nearby Slade Court general aviation precinct, as well as a reduced-cost long term parking option for passengers using the Terminal. The walking distance to the Terminal is 450 meters along a marked pedestrian footpath.

Are there showers in the terminal building?
Yes, these are located on the first floor, turn right at the top of the escalator.

Are there lockers to store my bags while I wait for my flight?
Yes, lockers are located on the ground floor of the terminal building, next to the domestic baggage carousels.  They range in size from small (wallet-size), to extra large (standard-sized surfboard).  Rates as follows:

  • Small  (wallet/keys) - free for the first 2 hours, then $4 per 24-hour period thereafter.
  • Medium (backpack) - $6 for the first 12 hours, then $6 per 24-hour period thereafter.
  • Large (suitcase) - $8 for the first 12 hours, then $8 per 24-hour period thereafter.
  • X-Large (oversize) - $14 for the first 12 hours, then $14 per 24-hour period thereafter.

My bags did not arrive on my flight, how can I find them?
